 Unique designer metal art handmade in-house under the watchful eye of the artist

 Art of Metal provides individually handmade mirrors, clocks, candlesticks, 
 placemats and coasters, wall hangings, wine racks plus much more. 

 Each item is hand-crafted and assembled by in-house crafts-people, who labor to 
 recreate the artist's original concept. Metals are formed, cast, welded, brazed 
 and exquisitely finished under the direction of Richard. Our craftspeople labor 
 to ensure the perfect fidelity to the artist's original intent.

 Metal-head Richard has been designing and constructing his artwork for over 10 
 years. He regularly displays his pieces at art-shows and events throughout the UK. 

 Richard’s background in architecture and engineering means that in his time he 
 has turned his hand to everything from girders to gates and even rubbish bins. 
 Ironically though, rather than taking inspiration from all things industrial, his 
 rustic Derbyshire roots mean his true love lies in the organic. No flora or fauna 
 can escape immortalisation in metal. 

 His infinite creativity and curiosity led him to develop the bespoke designs, 
 processes and treatments which make his products so unique. He is constantly 
 evolving and updating his designs as well as working on specially commissioned 
 pieces – from colossal sculptures to curtain poles. 

 “I love everything about the creative process,” he adds. “You start with a rough 
 raw material and end up with a perfect end product.”
